River Horse will be hosting a wool felted soap making class this Saturday, 9/23 1-3pm taught by longtime Waldorf Educator Cordula Hetland.

One of the loveliest activities little ones get to experience in Waldorf Education is wet wool felting. Taking beautifully dyed wool and massaging it into shape is a happy sensual experience that with guidance can produce unique gifts to share. Using wool to create a soft cover for soap is a great way to reduce waste and make hand washing a pleasurable experience. Transforming a piece of soap into a work of art that can be displayed and shared in your home is a great way to help us elevate our hygiene efforts.
